Why Coaching?
You have an original design. It is who God has intended you to be. It is your best self. Oftentimes society, culture, family of origin and even your own self, can impose upon that original design, causing you to live a distorted image of who you are truly meant to be. God calls upon you to reclaim you. It is not a call to individualism or self-centered living. Quite the opposite. In reality, it is as we reclaim our original design that we are the most empowered to serve and positively influence others, ultimately achieving our goals and finding personal fulfillment. My goal as a Life Coach is to help you “re-image” who you are so you can live a fulfilled and meaningful life, whether you consider yourself a leader or simply someone who has a calling to be a catalyst for change in this world.
How is Coaching Done?
The coaching sessions are usually done over the phone, and each session generally lasts for one hour. Coaching is not counseling, in which we extensively revisit your past. Rather, it is giving you the support, objectivity and accountability you need to envision and embrace the future that God has for you.
As a coach, my goal is not to give you the answers, because God’s power to accomplish immeasurably more than you can ask for or imagine is already at work within you. By asking you key questions, I will empower you to strategically unleash those resources of gifts, talents, abilities, and passions, by first identifying roadblocks, setting achievable goals, and developing a vision statement that becomes an immediate and sustainable action plan.
It has been said that only the strong survive. Although that may be true, mere survival is not living your life to the fullest as God intended. As one who has experienced the depths of loss and tragedy, as well as success and impassioned living, I have discovered the power of choice. I know you can discover it too.
