The term “second wind” is very well known to athletes. It is defined as the renewed energy or strength to continue pushing forward. It is the fresh burst of air in the lungs that a long-distance runner or fighter receives after almost collapsing from initial exhaustion.

We are all called to be champions, but unfortunately many of us are experiencing a season in life of trying to keep a business from extinction or a marriage from falling apart. Many are facing financial hardship, difficulty in relationships or a life-threatening illness. Others are at a major crossroad or are confronting a variety of other challenges—whether emotional, physical or spiritual.

This broadcast appeals to champions—people who are willing to push forward despite the odds—people who want to seize the prize, and refuse to be satisfied with anything less.

Marion Skeete, the host of “Second Wind,” has an M.Div, CPC, is an ordained Minister, Certified Professional Life Coach and Motivational Speaker. She offers the spiritual oxygen of God’s Word to inspire champions to run the race with purpose and direction, and fight to win.
